I don't imagine anyone can dispute with the fact that Google Voice brings the company nearer to total and irreversible control of the internet. Nevertheless being an idealist and fascinated by new technology I applaud Google's new venture. And will almost certainly be first in line if and when it is unveiled worldwide. At the same time I will be keenly aware that I will be significantly adding to my digital fingerprint.
